Stefano Berganto was born in Switzerland and studied fine arts in Paris from 1986 to 1990. His passion for drawing, illustrating, and writing has continued ever since.
On the eve of my eighteenth birthday, I traveled to Paris, the legendary City of Light. Eager to refine my artistic abilities and discover my poetic voice, I immersed myself in its enchanting atmosphere, my heart full of dreams.
Seven years later, my longing for the peaceful mountains and crystal-clear lakes became so intense that I got off the train in Geneva, carrying a portfolio full of drawings and sketches. One day, as I looked through my work, memories flooded back, bringing my experiences to life again. Yopiki was born, and the foundation for this book series was laid.
Art has woven itself like a golden thread through my life, and my artistic work reveals a poetic approach that places vibrant colors at the heart of my visual stories.
